Day 502: the 865

It's official.

I live in Tennessee.

And I plan to forever.

I gave up the only cell phone number I have ever had and got an 865 number.

Day 383: Exit 383

According to my calcalations, October 18, 2010, is day 383 of my life back in Knoxville. Exit 383 is my interstate exit, when I am coming from West Knoxville and Farragut, back to "slightly less west west Knoxville, a.k.a. the heart of Bearden, where we live now.

Day 273: Earthfare

Inbetween my house and the church where I work, lies the one, the only, the healthy supermarket - Earth Fare! Today, Rachel introduced me to their Pesto wrap for lunch. It was fabulous. A side of fruit and great conversation made it even better!

Oh, and it was only $4. Yummy price.

Day 236: Kroger

Okay, so this post is not so much about the grocery store. It is about feeling at home. At home in the neighborhood where Brad and I will be living. It really starts to feel like home when you go to the grocery store and you see 1...2...wait 3 people you know! Mollie, Rebecca, Ann, and I all stopped up the aisle yesterday as we saw each other had had to say hello.
Here's to Krogering. Here's to feeling at home.

Day 208b: I40 is open!!

If you want to visit Knoxville or escape to the Carolina coast...it just got easier!

I-40 reopened after massive rockslide. In a surprise announcement Sunday, the North Carolina Department of Transportation opened Interstate 40 earlier than scheduled.

Ahh, All is right with the world.

Day 142: New glasses

Disclaimer: Yes, I know this post is slightly lame because I am not supplying a picture. But, well, I don't own a camera and well, I jsut never take pictures. Sorry.

I have new glasses! After years of never wearing them, out of date prescriptions, and even half-broken frames, I have new glasses. My little brother has announced that they make me look, "weird, um, no, I just mean different." Anyway, it's definitely something new! I have been wearing them all week.

Day 101: McGhee Tyson Airport

This is my new airport. Big enough to get it done, small enough to be quick, easy and close...
