Day 62: Maria

At the intersection of Alaska and New Zealand, I found Maria! She was in the eastern US for a split second and I got to enjoy lunch with her and Chelsea (see Day #6). This extra ordinary women are both peace core alumni and world travelers. And like our friendly friend Valerie (who currently resides in South Africa), we all graduates of Farragut High School and Converse College. Sweet memories, sweet time to catch up, and great chili (see Day #7). So thankful to be at this intersection...and as I type this blog post, Valerie gchats me. Awe, good times, great oldies.
